Featuring up to the minute info on what’s happening in the music industry (specifically in the indie rock, down tempo, folk rock, electronic and progressive hip-hop genres). Staffed by several editors from around the country, the site is in constant motion and influencing the tens of thousands of visitors monthly. The website serves as a conduit for the community that THE DROP listeners and readers have become. As the host of THE DROP, a cutting edge podcast and now a full 60 minute syndicated radio show. Both offerings feature movers and shakers in the fields of music, film, TV and print.

Film is a passion. Random Faction was started out of the idea of the hero, the epic hero, the superhero. I joined up with a great screen writer, Derek Kolstad, and we’ve got hopes of transferring some of his great work from page to screen.

As a bit of a social experiment, four guys set out with the intention of seeing the people and the places of their own backyard. A weekend trip in which the journey is the destination. 300 miles of open road, from backyard BBQ to indie-pop, from the speedway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, this short film release weekly in 5 minute increments starting September 3rd. The feature will be split up into 5-7 minute shorts and be released “webisodically” (ie, as a video podcast form)
