Things I’ve learned form the first season of “24″ thus far:

It’s a good idea to have spare shirts at work when fighting international terrorists.
Starting soon (ie tomorrow or the next day) i will begin something that I should have started a long time ago. The poking and prodding of friends asking me why I wasn’t familiar with the series, “24″ and how I could let this happen. So with much rejoicing (cue minstrels) I’ve cued up my Netflix account to go back to back with all of the available seasons so that by the time January and the latest incarnation of the 24 hour show reappears.. I’ll be up to speed. There has been some drastic opinions regarding what was the best season and even some encouragement to skip whole seasons of the show altogether. What’s your take?
The creative crew over at Angry Alien Productions are well known for their 30 second version of a bunch of classic films. Starting today they’ve released a new animated short of a Christmas classic, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Around the holidays my family gets together and we have some traditions just like other families do. The difference is that my family easily gets bored, so we have to think of new ways to keep things fresh. Each year there is always some sort of football game and last year we decided to film it. I just recently put all the clips together and it nearly makes me weep because of the sheer majesty of it all.
