Tomorrow (Friday), I’m going down to Roanoke, VA to spend some time with best selling author and networking extraordinaire, Mike Garrison. What’s on tap for the day? I’m so glad you asked. We’ll be visiting a BNI group, which if you’re not familiar with what a BNI group is check it out here. It’s basically a place where entrepreneurs and business owners get to know each other and through those relationships are then able to recommend the business products and services of those in their BNI group to their sphere of influence. I’ve been a part of one for just a few months and it has been a great experience. After the BNI meeting, we’ll be talking about his recent book release, “Truth or Delusion” which he co -wrote with Ivan Mizner (Founder of BNI) and Mike Macedonio (Co-founder of the Referral Institute) The interview will be on a future episode of the Biz -Ops Podcast which is co-hosted with Tim Grahl. Theses 3 authors have a ton of experience and are quickly becoming the foremost authority on networking in the country so spending the morning getting some pointers should be great.
