THE DROP Episode 6 – Francine and The Acid House Kings
July 24th, 2006

It’s all about the music on this episode. This week features Beantown upstarts Francine. Their moody music tells such a story that I can’t stop listening to it. You may recognize their subtle grace from last season on “The O.C.” I was able to catch up with Clayton Scoble as the album was releasing and I can’t wait for you to hear it. Their latest release, Airshow is on Q Division and it’s heavenly. Also the Swedish genius that is the Acid House Kings joins us. Niklas and Johan talk with Dan from their tour stop at the DC9, They talk about touring and the best marketing tag line. On the music side, they’ve been compared to Belle and Sebastian, Kings of Convenience and Sondre Lerche. Twee pop or as we like to call it – really good, never made us want to dance around more. TwentySeven Records has made their latest Cd available with an additional karaoke DVD. (You know you want it)
