I stole this from the Nolan Ross file on great summer music and I thought you should see it.
I seem to often do this, not for my own pleasure (well, maybe a little), but for the pleasure of your ears. Your ears deserve to hear good pleasant sounds, thus, I am doing you a favor in pointing you in the right direction of wonderful tunes. here are some wonderful summer songs that will make you feel alive… (side note: you really could buy Josh Rouses’ “Subtitulo” record and that be considered a full-on summer record)…

Tonight on Pay Per View is probably the biggest fight in the recent history of the world (for at least 5 years). Matt Hughes, UPC Welterweight Champion, will face off against the living legend of Royce Gracie. Personally my money is on Matt Hughes – he’s so dominant and his work ethic is insatiable. Regardless the outcome, my new favorite sport to watch brings the goods tonight.
Check out 60.ufc.com for more info on tonights fight.

Like so many others tonight at midnight, we’ll be enjoying the third installment in the X-Men saga. So Many thoughts are whirling (none that are making me lose sleep) about what will happen to the franchise. So please indulge me to geek out for a moment.
Basic Concerns:
1. Halle Berry wrecks this movie because of whining about more screen time. (Reminds me of when Marvel would have more info on Storm in the comic book and I would skip to the end and then buy something else)
2. Inaccurate Portrayal of Phoenix
3. Too Many Characters
4. Brett Ratner ruins this film series… at which point I will quote Kyle from South Park.
(I’m sure I’ll have Pictures of some of the freaks that have dressed up for this showing)
In other Superhero News – Tom Cruise will not be Tony Stark in Jon Favreau’s IRON MAN. (Thank God)

Even though it’s been delayed a year, Columbia finally releases a trailer for the movie Ghost Rider. I’m sure it’s one of the trailers for X3 premiering in theatres stateside tomorrow.
