What’s The Deal With Scrubs?
May 18th, 2006

With Scrubs just finishing their 5th season of genius, I’m left asking a few questions.
Is Scrubs funny and popular because the main character JD (Zach Braff) is easy to identify with because he’s an everyman or is it because so many people have their own sidebar conversation with themselves? (it’s like live action Family Guy)
Is it that the show never lacks for gorgeous women as love interests? (Sarah Chaulke, Mandy Moore, and just recently Elizabeth Banks)

And since I’m talking about Elizabeth Banks, you may remember her from such films as The 40-Year Old Virgin, Swept Away, and her part in Spiderman 1&2 as Perry Whites’ receptionist… why do I know that??!?!)

The final 2 episodes did not dissappoint in their laughter quality or in the “where do I sign up to work there” category. If you’ve got answers or thoughts to these imponderables, I’d like to hear them.
