Global Night Commute

Check out the Audio version of this post.

Let me encourage you to check out a website. Invisible Children.com tells of the plight of northern Uganda. There is a documentary available and showings nationwide. Like so many tales of struggle in life, the story is gripping. I’ve been exposed to several “causes” in my life but this really grabbed me.

I’m not a big activist type but I will tell you that hearing about the unrest in Uganda has bothered me. The story after story from children who have been exposed to ridiculous amounts of violence and loss.

Please join me by signing up for the Global Night Commute and send a message to our government leaders that America needs to care for those who can’t defend themselves. The tough part in all of this is that there is no gain financially or strategically for America. It will take the outcry of Americans telling our government officials to step in a defend the helpless.
