I know the title to this post was a little cheesy, but have no fear - there will be many more with the same kind of cornball antics. Moving on…. I’m thrilled that the Maestro known as Sam Beam has decided to add his sister when touring and now on albums. Tuesday marked a brand new exclusive release of the Iron & Wine Live Sessions on iTunes. The songs are great and the selection wasn’t obvious. (that’s a huge plus) And while your mind is on Iron & Wine crus over to NPR and search for the episode of All Songs Considered that featured not only Sam Beam and his sister Sarah, but the collaboration with Calexico. They podcasted the whole show at the 9:30 Club and it’s easily one of my favorite broadcasts.
