I just got the new release from Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins – “Rabbit Fur Coat” Wow… it’s like the female Ryan Adams. Start to finish, a solid effort and I’m not usually into anything with a country flair but this is just plain good. Personal favorites are “Rise Up With Fists!!” (the video is so hokey, in a good way, and the ladies are flawless) and the cover of the Traveling Wilbury’s new classic “Handle With Care” featuring Ben Gibbard assuming the roll of Roy Orbison, the part of Jeff Lynn sung by M. Ward and Conner Oberst ripping thru the Bob Dylan parts. You really need to hear it.

I don’t know what today holds for us Mac users but it’s spposed to be something big. Steve Jobs just turned 51 last week but he’ll be giving the world a present later tomorrow (3/28). The rumor mill is working overtime with anticipation of what will be shown.
The pictures above are just one example of what “could” be. Also on the docket are Intel Mac Mini’s and possiblt blue tooth wireless iPod. I guess we’re all on shuffle… (that was particularly dumb)
