When TiVo Attacks

Tivo

I’ve been telling you about my recent escapades investigating older movies (pre-1965) but yesterday strange thing happened. There have been some odd requests of late to my Tivo asking it to record classics with Spencer Tracy, Edward G. Robinson, Audrey Hepburn and more. My only thought is that it freaked out because of the change. It’s understandable, one day it’s MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge on Spike TV) and Smallville and the next it’s Alfie (starring Michael Caine) and The Bridge Over the River Kwai (starring Alec Guiness aka Obi Wan Kenobi). But yesterdays faux pas wa almost too much to stand. I turned the Tivo on and experienced a myriad of emotion, was I to blame? Where did this machine think I’d want to see “The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood”? As far I can tell there is only one possibility - My Tivo thinks I’m gay.
