Her latest offering “Speak For Yourself” hasn’t stopped spinning on the iPod for months. Her gentle, understated sound is only matched by her beautiful voice. We catch up with Imogen live from her tour and talk about the rollercoaster she’s on. Also included are some nice bits about The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardobe that you won’t find anywhere else.
His Absolute domination in the Octagon has made him a force to be reckoned with. He’s now the King of the Hill and no one has even come close to withstanding the barrage of of fury that is Matt Hughes. Listen to find out how The Dynamic Duo of The Dropcast holds up against this gladiator of legend.

You need to see this video that was shown recently on Jimmy Kimmel. The vid is taken from a wrestling “conference” and a really BIG fan gives his comments and asks a question.

Tonight was a taping for an upcoming episode of The Drop. In one evening I talked with musical genius, photographic mastery and a gladiator of epic proportions.
My evening was kicked off by a conversation with the first of two sonstress book ends to my night. This musical sensation to start the night is none other than Rosie Thomas. I had a conversation with her once about 4 years ago. She was touring with Damien Jurado at the time. I know that she’s a comedian, no really, she’s an actual standup comedian. But more importantly… she makes amazing music that I could listen to everyday if I was trapped on a deserted island and could only listen to one musician forever.
Next up, Jeremy Cowart. To be totally honest I have no idea how he does half of the things he achieves with a camera. His locations, lighting and pure composition is masterful. The best part - he’s easy to talk with.
Then, the modern day gladiator. Matt Hughes is a guy I became a fan of on The Ultimate Fighter 2 reality show on Spike TV. Some thought he was the tough coach or not nearly as likeable - I think he’s the guy I want in my corner. He dominates in such a fashion in the Octagon (no cheap Napoleon Dynamite references allowed) it’s hard not to be a fan. He’s bigger than Mike Tyson and about 5 times tougher.
The evening finished with Leigh Nash (former frontwoman of Sixpence None the Richer). In the midst of her busy schedule while working on her first solo project she took some time to talk with The Dropcast crew. She’s Grammy Nominated and critically acclaimed and as I said before , her new album is going to be big. She’s working with Pierre Marchand (Sarah McLachlan) and “WOW” doesn’t do justice to describe what I’ve heard.
Stay tuned to The Dropfor these Interviews and More in the coming weeks…..
