Ryan Adams came out with his latest CD today “29″. I asked Joe about it and this what I got back.

it’s ryan adams. he’s an amazing musician but after one listen, it
may take me a little while to truly appreciate what he’s put forth
with this collection of songs. it’s a lot mellower than cold roses.

i liked strawberry wine and voices as well as elizabeth, you were born.

don’t forget to listen to the ryan adams holiday shake n’ bake on the
loft (xm50) on christmas day. mike and kate, with special guest matt
the cat from the 50’s on 5, will be playing ryan adams three releases
this year… cold roses, jacksonville city nights, and 29. they will
also play his now legendary loft session.

his loft session is still the only session in the performance at xm
that has given me goose bumps. not even paul mccartney did that.
chump. it is an amazing display of artistry that only the eccentric
ryan adams can deliver.
