Your Favorite Christmas Song

MY DENSITY

Christmas Songs.. I find they go in cycles for me. My favorite seems to rotate from year to year. Several years ago I picked up and old Nat King Cole vinyl Christmas Album and I played it like it was going out of style (ask Ryan) The “it” song then was a tie between “I heard the bells on Christmas Day” and “O Tenenbaum” which of course he sung the hole thing in German.

Then a few years ago Nat King Cole was replaced by Brenda Lee with “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and I grooved to that song and secretly sang and danced to it in Dept. Stores throughout the Holidays.

But then last year “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” shot like a rocket to the top of the “What I think is Cool at Christmas and to romance your lady by” music pile. I think it also helps that Zooey Deschanel (see above) sings a rendition of it. I’ve found over 65 different renditions.

But the reason for the Post - What is YOUR favorite Christmas Song and perhaps why?
